Ms. Shawn V. Tillman, is a second-generation Veteran of the U.S. Army. She is currently enjoying getting to know San Antonio and the rest of the Southwest U.S., while working as an Account Manager in the additive manufacturing & technology industry (aka 3D design and printing). She has a passion for travel and fitness and is always seeking new opportunities to learn. She inherited a spirit of adventure and perseverance from her mother who is also an Army Veteran. Shawn believes the key to living a fulfilling life is to travel, always try new things, and include service to others regardless of where you are in life. This is precisely why she jumped at the opportunity to learn ballroom dancing and raise money and to assist two local charities that she holds in very high regard. She’s seen the impact both the Fisher House and Grace After Fire have made in the lives of Veterans and their families.
The Fisher House Foundation is an organization that provides lodging in and around military and VA hospitals for families of military service members who are undergoing medical treatment.
Our vision is to help women veterans help themselves. The mission of Grace After Fire is to provide the means for women Veterans to gain self-knowledge and self-renewal. Our Motto is we serve to protect the veteran, connect the resource and renew the women.
Come out and support our Veterans and all those dancing!
